Who are we?
The AO Smile Foundation is a charity that was set up to support the causes closest to our people. We’re always looking for ways to help those around us and we believe it’s important that we all get to do something we can be proud of.
The foundation strives to provide practical and emotional support for the most vulnerable people within our communities, with a particular focus on young people.
We encourage MAD (Make A Difference) days and offer fundraising boosts to AOers who are raising money for causes that are close to their hearts.
From sweepstakes, cakes and swimming in lakes, to picking up trash and growing a ‘tache, they’re all given the opportunity to help move mountains.
Our story so far
“The AO Smile Foundation’s mission is to support our employees in their charitable endeavours – whether that’s raising money for a cause close to their heart or giving their time to help good causes and charities with practical support and skills.
We believe that talent is evenly distributed but opportunity isn’t when it comes to young people, and we see addressing that as a priority for Smile.
We hope that the AO Smile Foundation will leave a legacy that the whole of AO World Plc can be hugely proud to be a part of.”
