Established in 2000, when the internet was still quite young, we have become the destination for electricals with around 3,000 employees, a logistics business, a state of the art electricals recycling plant and rated excellent on Trustpilot with over half a million reviews.

ao.com is our shop and our range of products is constantly expanding as well as the content and tools we produce to help our customers make the right choices.
AO Logistics
We bought our own logistics company so that we could deliver on our promises by being in control. We also have our own warehouses so we can keep our own stock. And deliver it when required.
AO Recycling
In 2017 we started to build a huge, state-of-the-art recycling facility in Telford. When it was finished we became one of the biggest fridge recyclers in the UK. We like to be responsible.

We sell to businesses. From landlords to charities. Whether they need 1 product or 100, we give them the freedom to order what they need, when they need it.

Our official AO Outlet eBay store gives our customers the chance to make some big savings. We sell professionally refurbished and end-of-line goods – all with the AO service we’re known for.
AO Mobile
We have three mobile brands, they offer everything our customers love about AO, but for mobiles. With all the latest handsets on some of the biggest networks, we’re making it easy for customers to choose the perfect mobile phone for them.
Music Magpie
Acquired by AO in December 2024, the musicMagpie online store launched in 2015, which serves as its sales platform in the UK, across both musicmagpie.co.uk and its respective mobile applications.
The online store and smartphone app account for over 75% of smartphones sold by musicMagpie in the UK.
musicMagpie operates from over 170,000 square feet of processing and distribution centres based at two sites in Hazel Grove and Macclesfield.
musicMagpie also launched in the US in 2012, trading as ‘Decluttr’. The Decluttr.com online store launched in 2017.
