For eligible purchases made from 12 October to 11 December 2026, customers can claim a Price Match at any point up to 23 December 2026.
Orders placed on or after 12 December 2026 are covered by AO’s standard seven-day Price Match Guarantee, starting from the date the order is delivered.
This means customers can shop earlier in the Black Friday sales period with added confidence that, if the price of an eligible product falls on AO or they find it cheaper with another qualifying retailer, they can claim the difference.
How long does AO’s Black Friday Price Match Guarantee last?
AO has extended its Price Match Guarantee for eligible purchases made between 12 October and 11 December 2026.
Customers buying during that period can submit an eligible claim up to 23 December 2026.
For orders placed on or after 12 December, AO’s standard Price Match Guarantee applies. Customers then have seven days from the date of delivery to make a claim.
AO’s Black Friday event runs from 28 October until 1 December 2026.
What happens if the price falls after I buy from AO?
If the price of your product drops on AO after you buy it, you may be able to claim back the difference under the Price Match Guarantee.
You can also make a claim if you find the same product available for less from an eligible UK-based retailer.
The product must be exactly the same as the one purchased from AO and available to order and pay for on the day the claim is checked.
Only one Price Match claim can be made for each product purchased. Once a Price Match refund has been issued, no further claims can be submitted for that product.
Does AO match Black Friday deals from other retailers?
Yes. AO’s Price Match Guarantee applies during major promotional sales periods, including Black Friday.
AO can match the current price of an identical product sold by another eligible UK-based retailer, subject to the full terms and conditions.
The competitor’s product must:
- Be exactly the same product as the one sold by AO
- Be sold by a retailer based in the UK
- Be a UK product
- Be available to order and pay for that day
- Meet the other requirements of AO’s Price Match Guarantee
The guarantee does not cover in-store-only offers, trade prices or prices that are only available through a membership, loyalty or reward scheme.
Does AO Price Match discount codes?
Yes. AO can match eligible discount codes as well as prices available during promotional sales periods.
The code must apply to the same product and be available when AO checks the price. The final price and offer must also meet the other requirements of the Price Match Guarantee.
AO does not match codes or prices that are exclusively available through competitor memberships, loyalty schemes or reward programmes.
How do I request an AO Price Match before buying?
If you find an identical product cheaper at another eligible retailer before placing your order, call AO on 0161 470 1100.
Have the following information ready:
- The AO product code
- The name of the other retailer
- The competitor’s price
- A link to the product and offer
AO’s team will check the product and price. If the offer meets the requirements of the Price Match Guarantee, AO will match it so you can place your order at the lower price.
How do I claim after buying from AO?
If you have already purchased your product, you can submit a claim through your AO account.
Sign in, provide the details of the lower price and complete the Price Match form. AO will then check whether the claim meets the Price Match Guarantee terms.
For eligible orders placed from 12 October to 11 December 2026, claims can be submitted up to 23 December 2026.
For orders placed on or after 12 December 2026, claims must be submitted within seven days of delivery.
If the claim is approved, AO will refund the difference to the original payment method. The refund should appear in your bank account within three to five days.
What prices and offers does AO not match?
AO’s Price Match Guarantee does not apply to:
- In-store-only deals
- Prices only available through other retailers’ memberships, loyalty schemes or reward programmes
- AO Business or other trade websites
- Products that are not exactly the same
- Products that cannot be ordered and paid for that day
- Pricing errors
Customers can make one Price Match claim per product purchased. Once a refund has been issued, another claim cannot be made for the same product.

Do AO Members always pay less during Black Friday?
Yes. AO Members always pay less than non-members on the same products at AO, including during the Black Friday event.
Members can access exclusive member-only prices across hundreds of products, providing an additional way to save throughout Black Friday and beyond.
AO Membership prices are separate from AO’s Price Match Guarantee. The Price Match Guarantee does not apply to member-only discounts and deals, because these prices are exclusively available to AO Members.

Black Friday deals now run over a much longer period, which can make it difficult for customers to decide when to buy.
Some shoppers worry that buying early could mean missing a lower price later in the event. AO’s extended Price Match Guarantee is intended to give eligible customers greater confidence to buy when they find the right product and offer.
