This Easter, online electricals retailer AO has donated a huge 250 Easter eggs and other sweet treats to HideOut YouthZone in Manchester, to put a smile on the faces of the young people attending the centre.

The Customer Experience team at the Bolton-based retailer spent the weekend collecting the goodies, before they were hand-delivered to the YouthZone in an AO green van on Monday. Smashing last year’s collection of 200 eggs, the donation ensured that the young people who attended the facility over the Easter holidays received a chocolate treat.

As a Founder Patron of the HideOut YouthZone, AO shares the charity’s passion for improving the life chances of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Based on Hyde Road in Gorton, HideOut YouthZone provides a safe, inspiring place for young people aged 8-19 to spend their leisure time. Open 7 days a week and charging just 50p a visit, the charity offers over 20 creative and sporting activities to give young people somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.
